I have been learning to retell the story.

I used a story pyramid to help me retell the story, Treasure by the Sea.

I think I did well at using my own words.

I found out that the story pyramid helped me.

My next step is make and justify inferences.

I was learning to write a simple recount  in the right order.

I found this work easy because the event was easy to write about, my weekend.

I found out that using past tense was tricky because I didn't know any words that are past tense.

My next step is to write more past tense words.
