Dear Diary,Over the last few weeks we have been doing some learning about science and matter. Last week we visited the Science Van which is a group of people that come and show how science work. We were learning about the topic MATTER. First they talked about the three statements of MATTER which was, Solid, Liquid and Gas. They showed some science experiments and told us about how the progress worked. I thought that it was an interesting way to learn about science.
Then we decided to learn about science a little bit more. So we partnered up and did some work about science. We learnt about scientist and there investigation and typed it on a presentation. We even made some posters with written quotes from scientists.
We also had our Year 6 Easter Egg Hunt. It took a lot of work to figure out the questions but it was still fun and everyone got an Easter egg for as an award. My favorite part about the Easter Egg Hunt was doing with my friends and having fun doing it with my friends.
Another fun subject is Art. I had finally finished my grid Art and now I started doing a new piece of art which is Pixel Art. My first time doing Pixel Art was with my friends. We did a collab and it turned to be an ice-cream. Then I decided to make a rainbow star. I chose to make a rainbow star because I wanted to make something that was different to other people. But I still thought that doing an art that is so fun to make is a really cool way to make a creation.
I had fun doing all this learning this term and hopefully we will do more better learning next term!
